The 24th Annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival is now accepting submissions!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The 24th Annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival is now accepting submissions!

January 15, 2013, St. Johns – One of the longest-running women’s film festivals in the world is now accepting submissions.

The St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival attracts thousands of visitors each year. Last year, the Festival opened with a sold-out screening of “Midnight’s Children,” which was attended by its Oscar-nominated director Deepa Mehta. Other Festival alumni include Shandi Mitchell, Ingrid Veninger, and Andrea Dorfman.
The 24th Annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival is now open for submissions. The Festival will take place from October 22 to October 26, 2013, and the program will be curate by the Festival’s Board of Directors.

Films written, directed or produced by women of any age and any country qualify for consideration. Co-gender productions are also accepted. Production must be completed after January 2012.

The early bird deadline to submit a film is March 18, 2013, and the final deadline is May 20, 2013. Submissions will be accepted through Withoutabox or by mail.
