Cinematography Masterclass with Maya Bankovic

March 24-25, 9am-5pm at NIFCO
$100 for both days, lunch included.

As a part of our Scene and Heard Film Industry Conference, join us as Canadian Screen Award-nominated cinematographer Maya Bankovic (Workin’ Moms, Wexford Plaza) leads an in-depth, two-day cinematography masterclass. Focusing on the role of a cinematographer with hands-on tech training, this masterclass will be aimed at emerging, mid-level and established cinematographers, directors or independent producers.

While this masterclass is open to everyone, SJIWFF is committed to the advancement of women and other marginalized individuals in the film industry. Priority will be given to individuals who self-identify as such. Class will be limited to ten participants and is by application only.

There are limited filmmaker travel bursaries for women living in Atlantic Canada. To apply for a bursary, please note it in your application and state where you will be travelling from.

Applications are due via email by 11:59pm (NDT) on March 12th, 2018. Please forward completed applications or inquiries to industry@womensfilmfestival.com. Successful applicants will be notified via email.
